The Municipality of Lambton Shores will be initiating a road reconstruction project in Grand Bend in early September. The project has an anticipated completion date of late October 2024.
The reconstruction project includes portions of:
- Sauble River Road (Main Street East to just south of Eighty One Crescent)
- Eighty One Crescent (Sauble River Road to Gill Road)

Grand Bend Bridge Construction Project Begins September 3

The Municipality of Lambton Shores is scheduled to begin construction on the Ontario Street Bridge in Grand Bend on Tuesday, September 3, 2024. The project will include the replacement and widening of the bridge and will span over approximately two years.

With the prediction of hot and humid weather expected for today, August 26, Environment and Climate Change Canada is issuing a Heat Warning for Lambton County. The warning will remain in effect possibly until Wednesday when conditions are expected to ease.
