As the 2023 budget planning process begins, the Municipality of Lambton Shores is looking for input from residents and business owners.

The Pre-Budget Survey will help us understand the priorities and preferences of the residents and business owners in Lambton Shores. The survey should take approximately 7-10 minutes to complete.

Road Closure: Arkona Road

Road closure notification (County of Lambton)

Please be advised that commencing Monday, September 26th at 7:00 a.m., County Road 79 (Arkona Road) will be closed to all traffic at the Hobbs-McKenzie Drain Culvert between Union Street and Rock Glen Road in the Village of Arkona. The road closure is expected to last for a period of three (3) weeks, weather permitting.

Construction notice: Klondyke Road

Be advised that beginning Thursday, September 8, crews will be preparing Klondyke Road for resurfacing. The resurfacing project will take place from Lakeshore Road to 1.2km southeast of Lakeshore Road. The construction work is expected to extend until the end of September, 2022.

Reduced lanes and traffic control will be in place while work is in progress. Motorists are advised to follow all traffic control signage and to drive in a manner that respected the health and safety of road crews.

Water Disruption: Grand Bend

Be advised that a water disruption is expected in Grand Bend on Friday, September 9. The disruption will affect the following areas in Grand Bend:

• Ontario Street North
• Municipal Drive
• Centre Street
• Oak Street
• Main Street
• Queens Avenue

This interruption in service is necessary as part of ongoing Ontario Street North reconstruction project. We thank all of those affected for their patience and understanding.
