Huron Shores Area Transit Announces New Fare

Huron Shores Area Transit (HSAT) has announced a new system-wide fare as of November 15, 2021. The new system-wide fare is $5, allowing riders to board and exit anywhere on a route within the serviced locations for one price.
Children ages 12 and under will continue to ride for free.

New Accessible Dugouts and Fencing Upgrades Made to Forest Sports Park

Upgrades to the Forest Sports Park and Rick Goodhand Memorial Baseball Diamond are now complete after crews worked on installing new covered accessible dugouts and outfield fencing this summer.
The project was funded in part thanks to the Jays Care Foundation and a $54,800 grant through their 2021 Field of Dreams program, which supported the cost of two covered accessible dugouts and fencing on the Rick Goodhand Memorial Baseball Diamond.

Lambton Shores, October 29, 2021 – The Municipality of Lambton Shores has officially lifted the Declaration of Emergency, effective 4:00 p.m. on Friday, October 29, 2021. The state of emergency was declared on March 18, 2020, in response to the global pandemic. The Province of Ontario lifted its declaration of emergency on June 9.

Carbon Monoxide Awareness Week is November 1-7, and the Municipality of Lambton Shores Fire and Emergency Services is reminding residents about the dangers of carbon monoxide (CO) and encouraging them to take action to protect their homes from the silent killer.
