The Municipality of Lambton Shores has launched a new grant program to assist residents with disconnecting sump pumps from the sanitary sewers and installing backwater valves in their home. The program aims to reduce the strain on the sanitary sewer system and reduce the risk of basement flooding and other damage related to sewage backups.

The Municipality of Lambton Shores and its Consultant, NPG Solutions Inc., have produced a set of proposed amendments to the Lambton Shores Official Plan as part of an ongoing Official Plan Review Process.
The Municipality seeks input on the Official Plan and proposed amendments and will hold Open Houses and a Public Meeting for that purpose:
